These self-taught,life-long artists, known as the "ART COUPLE", moved from their home in NY State in 1979. They lived and worked in the Raleigh/Cary area for many years and now proudly reside and work out of their home art studio and gallery at 220 Sturminster Dr.,Holly Springs NC.
Al is primarily a portrait artist and is especially known for detail of subject features and backgrounds, and is also an accomplished restorer of art(all media) photos and frames.
Carol has become well known for her still life art, beach and country scenes. She works mainly with water colors, attending to details with a flourish.
Daughter, Traci Lanphere, enjoys acrylic mural painting, oil painting, and practicing the satisfying art of restoration.
